Holden Beach House Names

Since the late 1980s, my family has vacationed in Holden Beach, North Carolina.  The children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of Luther and Mildred Knauff rent a house for a week and those of us who are able come for as many days and nights as possible.  For many years, the house was "The End Zone," located at 1002 Ocean Blvd. West, a "second row" house.  More recently, the houses have been ocean front houses.  Most of the houses that are rented are named.  Since the drive from the "mainland" to the west end of the island can take 15 minutes or so, one of the ways to pass the time is to look at the signs on the front of houses and pick favorite names.  Here are a few notable names from 40 years of beach-going.
